Cannabis and Cancer
Hemp, Cannabis, Marijuana, Grass, Weed; there are many names for the plant long known as the most medicinal plant in the world; however, not many people currently know that multiple studies point to the fact that Cannabis has the ability to make cancer cells not only stop dead in their tracks and keep them from multiplying, but even eat themselves. The chemicals in cannabis shown to trigger cell death among cancer cells are JWH-015 and MET, along with these are THC and CBD being responsible for boosting immune system and food intake for chemotherapy patients. In a world where over 12 million people are diagnosed with cancer each year and over 20,000 people die every day from cancer related illness, could cannabis be the unlikely savior that was in front of our nose the whole time?According to studies on mice by Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, School of Medicine, University of Alcalá and Harvard Cancer Center in Boston, Massachusetts, US, cannabis shows extremely promising results on tumor cells in lung and prostate cancer, in fact these studies are applicable to any variety of cancer and even brain tumors. It’s frightening when you realize multiple studies such as this have been performed by the United States Government itself with identical results and this potent cancer medicine is still illegal. What exactly is the government trying to do?
